2 Famous Reading Anthracite Coal & Cards
Yanny50 is pleased to offer this Vintage Greeting Card with Lump of Famous Reading Anthracite Coal. The card is heavy stock shaped like the state of Pennsylvania. The greeting says, "Warmest Wishes" I believe this to be a promotional item from the 1960's as per a pamphlet that we found in the box with these cards.
There is a tiny map of the Pennsylvania coal region specifically noting Pottsville, PA. Each is sealed in a plastic bag with a lump of coal. The card is 5 ½ inches long and 3 inches tall.
These cards make great reminders of a time when Coal was the King of Fuels. They will compliment any collection. You will receive 2 bagged greeting cards.
